The fab review… Alicia Keys at the O2

There’s a reason Ms Key’s latest stadium tour is called Girl On Fire – the super-talented songstress is scorching hot. Like, seriously, we’re talking Beyoncé levels of gorgeous here. Even though she doesn’t have Bey’s dance moves, the way Alicia worked the stage was pure class.

But what she really does best is sitting at the piano, belting out the beautiful songs that made her a global superstar – A Woman’s Worth, Fallin’, New York… we listened to all her biggest hits with the 20,000-strong crowd at London’s O2 in complete awe.

Compared to big arena tours from the likes of Britney and One Direction, everything about Alicia’s show was elegant simplicity – minimal set design, minimal dancers, but maximum style.

There was just one costume change, too. Ms Keys spent the majority of the show in a black-trousers-and-blue-sequin-top ensemble, before changing into a killer red dress for the Girl On Fire finale, which blew us away. That girl can SING. Oh, and we loved her new ‘do, too. Seriously, hot.
